Online Banking FAQ's

With Online Banking, you can view your account information, transfer funds, make payments, and print images of your checks and deposits.

There is a ‘Forgot Password?’ link below the Online Banking login on our Homepage or contact your personal banker.   Have you changed your email address?

You can view checks online in Online Banking.  Simply select the checks you would like to view.

In order to have access to an account, you must be listed as an owner, a joint owner, or authorized signer on the account.  If you are having this issue, please contact a customer service representative or visit one of our bank locations.

Yes!  With Online Banking, you have access to your accounts 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Not a problem! As long as you know the answers to the Security Questions you selected during registration, you can access your account from any computer.  

Be careful not to select ‘Private Computer’ when logging in on a public computer.

For security reasons, you are required to change your password every six months.  You can change it more often, if desired.

Northwoods Bank of Minnesota uses the latest Internet security available, including secure communications (SSL), firewalls, 128 bit encryption, and operating systems that have been designed to provide maximum security.  All firewalls are monitored 24 hours a day – 7 days a week for intrusions, viruses, and malware.  We also provide added security when logging on through the use of random image ID’s, password phrases, and challenge questions.
